The company announced that professional accounts on Instagram can finally schedule their posts in the app.
The newly released tool will allow users to schedule posts, reels and carousels up to 75 days in advance, which previously could only be done with third-party apps. However, not everyone will be able to use the tool: for now it’s exclusive to businesses and creators. Creators can already schedule their live videos up to 90 days in advance, but this new feature will allow them to schedule their grid posts, reels and carousels ahead of time.
This update comes a few weeks after Meta began “testing the ability to schedule content with percentages”. [its] global community.”

Scheduling posts works exactly as you’d expect. You create a post, tap on “Advanced Settings” and click on “Schedule this post”. Then, you choose a date and time, toggle back to the Instagram post flow, and click “Schedule.” Easy.

Creators and businesses will be able to see all their scheduled posts in one place in the “Scheduled Content” section, which also allows users to reschedule content.
